High desert archery is a great range for family as well as individuals looking to shoot some arrows and have a great time. The owners, Lynette and Jeremey have been so kind and helpful to both my sons (7 & 4 years old) and myself.
My kids are in their homeschool class and a weekend class. The homeschool class is designed for homeschool kids during the week, includes the gear rentals and is semester based. Lynette and Jeremey teach the class themselves and do a wonderful job. My kids are learning the basics of archery and most of all, they are having a blast doing it. The class is also very reasonably priced.
The weekend class is for any kids that wish to learn. Bonus: there are enough lanes that us parents can bring our bows too and get in a little range time as the kids learn.
I know they also have various classes for adults but I haven't been to one of those yet.
The range is neat and the shop in the front has various archery equipment for purchase.

This place is absolutely amazing! It's a fantastic family-owned and operated establishment, where the love for archery runs deep. The indoor range is spotless, and their pricing is completely transparent with no hidden charges. My son has been going there for about 6 months now, and the progress he's made is mind-blowing. He's even getting ready for some competitions next month! But what we love the most is the extensive knowledge and genuine passion that the entire staff exudes. They're truly invested in helping you excel in the sport. Trust me, you'll find people of all ages and skill levels there, and the staff is incredibly patient and understanding. We can't thank everyone enough for making us feel like a part of the family. Kudos to the whole team!

I'm very impressed with this archery shop. I've been there numerous times and dealt with Tim and his staff over the phone on a few occasions. They're all extremely helpful and professional. I live near Lake Almanor with no real local options for my archery needs . They did my V3X bow built last year which ended up perfect. I also ordered a dozen arrows this past week. They arrived two days later and had all my information saved on my file which made ordering super easy! The shop is clean and well stocked with everything you'll need for your archery hunt at a great price. Great work guys!!

Dropped by this shop last week and was extremely impressed with their selection of bows (They even have 'em for left-handers), the wide range of equipment that they stock, and the wonderful reception given to us by the workers/managers...whose knowledge is amazing. If you're gearing up for your next bow-hunting expedition, or simply for target shooting at the range, I recommend that you check these guys out!

Tim and the crew here are just awesome. They are kind, helpful, and make coming to the archery shoo fun. They have everything you could need and treat your bow like it's their own. Highly recommend.
